    About “Silently Dear”

This song tells the story of a married woman who feels drawn to someone else,
while fully aware of the consequences that could follow.

She considers confessing her feelings, then decides it is better to remain silent. A
discovered relationship could cause harm in many directions, and she does not
want anyone else to be hurt.

For now, she chooses restraint, carrying her longing quietly while weighing love
against responsibility. Unless something changes, that longing will remain forever
    unspoken.

Lately I find you’ve been on my mind
And I really want to tell you so
But maybe it’s best that you don’t know

You have a free life and I’m bound here to mine
Even though that doesn’t mean things should be this way
To change would be harder than to stay

    Life is full of complications
    They overwhelm and overflow
If there was an easier road to travel
I swear to you that’s the way I’d go

Someone always gets hurt when somebody fools around
Sometimes the love you gain might be worth the hurt you cause
But love can never hide all the flaws

    Love is full of complications
It's hard to keep it simple and good
If it’s love I feel for you I don’t regret it
But I have to act the way I know I should

So, I’ll just keep quiet, I’ll bide my time
But I’ll tell you if the right moment should appear
Until then I’ll long for you Silently Dear
Until then I’ll long for you Silently Dear
